Spa – The Sun Palace Spa features five couples suites and five individual suites. Facilities include a sauna, herbal steam room, showers, and relaxation lounge. Golf – Enjoy golf at The Golf Club at Playacar and The Golf Club at Moon Palace. Tee times may be reserved prior to arrival, up to 90 days in advance.
Pools – Three infinity pools and an indoor pool with two Jacuzzis located next to the Sun Palace Spa. Lounge chairs and towels are provided throughout the pool areas.
Water Sports – Sun Palace Marina offers non-motorized sports equipment. Enjoy sailing, windsurfing, snorkeling, kayaking, water volleyball, body boarding, and introductory scuba lessons in the dive tank. Take advantage of a variety of motorized water sports, including parasailing and jet skiing.
Diving & Snorkeling – Pure, transparent waters make for spectacular diving and snorkeling. Third party tour operators can assist you in securing an outing.
Deep Sea Fishing – Plan a fishing trip to nearby Cozumel Island, which boasts some of the best fishing anywhere. Several fishing excursions are available through third party tour operators.
Exploration and Site seeing – There are several Mayan ruins and exploration opportunities in the region. Sight seeing venues offer vacationers several options: Xcaret with its underground rivers, diving, snorkeling, and coral reefs; the natural aquariums at Xel-Ha; the ancient Mayan port of Tulum containing many curious buildings; the villages and cities of Puerto Morelos, San Miguel, Playa del Carmen, and Cancun. Bicycles can be rented in some of these areas. Some tours and excursions are included in the all-inclusive package: Tulum Mayan Ruins, Chichen Itza Mayan Ruins, Chichen Itza Light Show, Isla Mujeres, Coba Mayan Ruins, and Ek-Balam Mayan Ruins. Optional tours not included but available for additional charge are Cozumel, jungle tour, Xcaret, bull fights, horseback riding, Lobster Dinner Cruise, and swim with dolphins.
Fitness Center – The gym is fully-equipped with cardiovascular machines, weight machines, and free weights. Enjoy a view of the beautiful lagoon as you work out. Sauna and steam bath are also available.
Shopping – There is a gift shop at Sun Palace with many interesting items. Shopping is a fun experience in this part of Mexico. Throughout the Cancun region you’ll find products and services in duty free shops, jewelry boutiques, fine gifts store, and logo and sundries shops.
Entertainment – Enjoy live music and entertainment, including the Fire Show, Caribbean Show, Karaoke, Anything Can Happen, Mexican Idol, Vegas Show, and Couples Night.
